Appearance with Ken Shamrock at the Max Muscle in Greensboro, North Carolina!!!
Wow, North Carolina is probally one of the most beautiful states that I have ever seen! On the weekend of November 10th, I had the pleasure of traveling to N.C. to make a guest appearance at the Grand Opening of Max Muslce, Greensboro. I flew into Charlotte and stayed in City Center, where I was surrounded by an amazingly clean downtown with so many great bars and resturants that it was difficult to decide on places to eat! Anyhow, the appearance was scheduled for Satuday afternoon, so I took my time driving from Charlotte to Greensboro and easily fell inlove with the lush countryside. However, I must say that I now understand how and why NC is the home NASCAR. Talk about FAST driving...and people say LA drivers are wild!
Anyhow, the Grand Opening went great, with Max Muscle owner Patrick Mayo doing an excellent job of pulling off a successful event. Celebrity guests included Ultimate Fighter, Ken Shamrock and Ken Canion from the show "Biggest Loser"! Both men were a pleasure to meet, but I'm especially grateful for the opportunity to have met Mr. Canion.
